Bourbon Flavors

I've never had an alcohol beverage (Unless you count that time as teenager when my friend and I were cleaning up after her parents' party and I took a sip of the last drop in the bottle. That drop BURNED! I was convinced that drinking WASN'T in my future. No thanks! I'm good!)

Adagio has a tea flavor in the signature blend choices called "Kentucky Bourbon". So, I wanted to play around by adding flavors.

I searched Pinterest to find different Bourbon drinks and came up with some tea mock flavors.

This is the first of FIVE bourbon flavors I created.

Okay! You can TRULY smell that smokey scent! I had to brace myself for the taste. I'm a creamer in my tea type of gal, but I'm learning to try a small sample before putting in into the ENTIRE cup.

Whew! I'm glad I did that because...yuck! It would of tasted terrible! It tastes good without it.

Lemon Lavender Cream

I love this tea! It's sweet, lemony, and has a great vanilla taste.

It also has a wonderful aroma as well!! I wonder if there's already a fragrant out there.🤔

A very delicate and blissful way to enjoy your tea after a long day or if you need a still moment.

Recipe:
3 tbsps of Lemon Lavender Vanilla tea
Sweetener
1 tbsp of lemon juice
1 cup of water
Suggestion: Add extra lavender flowers

Dirty Chai Tea

This was my bedtime snack. I created this tea recipe probably a year ago. I make a concentrated version and then I pour it in a cup about 1/2 or 3/4 in a cup and full the rest with oat milk.

Good night. Believe me, the caffeine doesn't keep me up...sadly.

SweetroseHoney5

If I could enter this tea blend into a contest, I would because it's my mostly prized creation!😁

Today, I decided to add honey and more roses to my drink. I loved the addition. It tasted and lived up to it's name.

Every time I took a sip, I was able to "smell the roses"!😂 The aftertaste of the honey was good. Different, but still good.

I wouldn't change the original recipe. But if I ever wanted a bit more sophisticated, I'll remember to add some honey and more roses!😉

Recipe:
3 tbsps of SweetroseHoney5
Honey
3 pinches of dried tea roses

Umm...I'm Not Sure About This

I fixed this tea yesterday. It's another one of my Adagio tea blends. The ingredients are:

Adaigo's Berry Blast, Cream, Peppermint, with Strawberries & Raspberries accents.

The peppermint was HEAVY! It tasted like a peppermint stick in a glass and a hint of berries. Which is the opposite of what I wanted.

So, I changed the levels in the ingredients. I'm hoping to taste more berries with a hint of mint in the end.

Sweetrose?! Naw! That Ain't It!

I've been enjoying my new hobby of tea blending! Adagio signature blends making gives you the option to make them private or public.

I love that option because it gives me a chance to taste it first before others. I created a blend called "Sweetrose".

The name and image is very special to me because it's a name my husband calls me at times and the image is an image I created out of pain.

I was excited to try my next blend. The ingredients are Adagio's tea flavors:
Raspberry Patch
Wild Strawberry
Valentine
Accents: Rose petals & Sprinkles

After having a cup, I decided that I needed to change the name because...I didn't taste any of the rose. I mainly tasted the sweetness of the berries.

Therefore I gave the tea blend a new name. It's called.

I now present to you, "Berry Sweetness" because you can taste nothing but berries and with much sweetness!😍

Recipe:
2 spoonfuls of "Berry Sweetness"
1 cup of water
Your choice of sweetness

Blue - Vanilla Raspberry

Here's the first of my signature blend from Adagio teas. It has blue berries, raspberries, vanilla flavored tea with dried raspberries and sprinkles.

I love how it smells! The loose tea with sprinkles makes me smile!

I wanted to try adding butterfly pea tea leaves to possibly turn the tea blue. I mean, I do call it BLUE raspberry. But...it doesn't look red.😬

When I brew another cup later, I'll add more butterfly pea flower leaves to see what happens.

The recipe;
2 - 3 tablespoons of Blue-Vanilla Raspberry tea
1 cup of water
Your choice of sweetness!😊
